2017 Training Camp • Practice 8

Green Bay Packers practice on Monday at 12:15 p.m. started not with special teams, but stretching and team tackling. We always get hungry for donuts after watching this drill.

CB Davon House (#31) did not practice at all.

DT Brian Price (#96) gets doubled teamed at the line of scrimmage.

Offensive coaches call the play during one of the scrimmage sessions.

QB Aaron Rodgers (#12) making an adjustment at the line.

RB William Stanback (#43) gets into the open on a running play.

QB Brett Hundley (#7) turns to make a hand-off while linemen battle behind him.

Offensive linemen help push the ballcarrier forward, despite the best efforts of the defense.

QB Aaron Rodgers (#12) lets a long touchdown pass fly.

TE Martellus Bennett (#80) seemed to be in a displeased mood all through practice.

TE Richard Rodgers (#82), while seemingly outshined by the two free-agent pickups at the position, is still holding his own. Here he works on catches along the sideline.

Close-up blocking work by T David Bakhtiari (#69) on G Geoff Gray (#74).

Group work involving G Jahri Evans (#73), G Thomas Evans (#60), T Bryan Bulaga (#75), and an unidentified teammate.

Watching practice are Head Coach Mike McCarthy (in green), and GM Ted Thompson (right). Also seen (left) may be Pepper Burruss, Director of Sports Medicine Administration.

TE Martellus Bennett (#80) also working on catches along the near sideline.

A herd of quarterbacks moving along the football prairie.

Three receivers: one starter, and two draftee hopefuls.

QB Joe Callahan (#6) scrambles to his left, flushed out by a group of defensemen.

Linebackers and linemen prepare to make a stand.

More line of scrimmage battle action.

QB Aaron Rodgers (#12) lofts one in our direction.

WR DeAngelo Yancey (#16) makes a catch despite the coverage of CB Quinten Rollins (#24).

QB Taysom Hill (#8) at the line of scrimmage as he gets a turn at the helm.

It is always fun to watch a QB of Aaron Rodgers’ caliber.

Some of the linebackers watch the offense at work.

GM Ted Thompson (in white), watching practice with CEO Mark Murphy.

Hall of Fame former GM Ron Wolf (dark shirt, middle) watches practice with his son, Eliot (left), who is the Packers’ current Director of Football Operations.

WR Randall Cobb (#18) makes a catch despite the coverage of two defenders, including FS Morgan Burnett (#42).

No one is able to come up with this pass, neither WR Trevor Davis (#11), FS Jermaine Whitehead (#35), S Martin Evans, nor WR Max McCaffrey (#13).

QB Aaron Rodgers (#12) plays linebacker in this drill, which also includes on “defense,” WR Geronimo Allison (#81), and WR Jordy Nelson (#87), not shown.

Group huddle as practice concludes.
